Becoming a member

Northern NSW State League Referee’s primarily receives members from the local junior branches of Macquarie, Newcastle Port Stephens, and Hunter Valley. If you are looking at becoming a referee for the first time then it is recommended you contact one of these branches for entrance course information details.

 

 

How do I join Northern NSW state league referee’s?

Firstly you need to contact our branch secretary. The contact details can be found under the Contact Us information on this website. In order to become a member of this branch you will need:

          To Hold a minimum of a level 3 referee classification (able to officiate on adult football)

  •          Not be unfinancial with any other refereeing branch
  •          Have clearance from your previous/current branch to join us
  •          Contact our secretary for the relevant forms and paperwork.

Upon successfully becoming a member of the branch you will be contacted by our secretary with all the relevant information and details required.

Fitness Requirements

All members of Northern NSW state league referee’s are required to maintain a minimal level of fitness in order to officiate with our branch and all members are expected to attend our organised fitness training sessions. The level of attendance required is dependent upon the competitions you will be officiating on

Match Appointments        

All our appointments are completed 2 weeks in advance to fixtures and provided to members via Schedula, email and are published on this website. Members are expected to provide a minimum of 2 weeks notice of unavailability in line with the appointments cycle.
