Game Summary: A lightning-fast first quarter by the young Bellarine team saw them go into the break with a 13-point lead. Bellarine provided plenty of turnovers which allowed Bulleen to peg back the lead late in the fourth quarter. With a one point deficit with two minutes to go in the last quarter, Bulleen capitalized on free throws, giving them a one point win in the dying seconds over a very exhausted Bellarine team. Coach Ness reminded the boys that although it was a loss, their consistency and determination as a team was commendable.

Bellarine Storm 2 (28) defeated Coburg 2 (25)
Best Players: Kai Keenan and Billy Dawson
Top Scorers: Kai Keenan
Game summary: What an amazing game! At one stage Coburg went out to an eight point lead, it was the boys’ tenacious defence that helped them claw their way back into the game. The game was played at a frenetic pace with the boys passing being a real highlight on offence. The boys crashed the boards and out-rebounded Coburg two to one. Coburg need to be complimented on the spirit they played the game, which was highlighted by a couple of heavy but fair clashes, with the players brushing themselves off and getting on with the game. Bellarine has met Coburg three times previously, with Friday night being their first win against them.
