Referee at Manly Touch

Referees play a vital role in Touch Football, ensuring our game is played in a fair, safe and enjoyable environment for all participants.

Manly Warringah Touch Football Association has approximately 100 referees officiating in our local competition and at representative level. Our success at representative level is not limited to player ranks, we have seen our referees officiate at tournaments within NSW and at both National and International levels.

If you are interested in having fun, getting fit, making new friends, or earning some money, consider being a referee, you won’t regret it.

If you are a new referee or just want to learn how to ref, Manly Touch provide coaching and support. Referees are allocated to games according to their experience and skill so don’t be afraid to have a go.

Referees can be all ages with refs as young as 12 officiating our Junior comp and learning the art within Manly Touch where we encourage both males and females at the club.

Manly Touch conducts referee courses throughout the year from beginners (level 1 through to talented referees level 3). Course dates will be advertised on this website and our Facebook Page. For more information on the accreditation process and courses please refer to the Referee Pathways menu.

All referees at Manly Touch are paid for their services.
