Pathway

Becoming an accredited referee is an important step in ensuring that you are equipped with the knowledge of the Rules of the Game, but also the latest on-field game information and skills to manage and create a safe and enjoyable environment for all. It is also a great way to remain fit and active and participate in our game.

Touch Football Australia's referee accreditation system provides a pathway progression for referees. There are six competency levels which contain specific required skills and knowledge to attain. The higher the badge level the more experienced and qualified the referee. See Referee Accreditation download below and our Manly Touch Referee Patheway download.

Manly Touch in conjunction with NSWTA conducts regular referee courses throughout the year for individuals, affiliates, schools, universities or other organisations who would like to attend and gain accreditation. Courses can be formatted to suit the needs of an organistation. All courses have conditions and requirements for them to proceed.
