FIBA RULE CHANGES AND HOW THIS AFFECTS OUR COMPETITIONS

FIBA (the International Basketball Federation) has announced a few rules changes. These changes will be implemented in the CSBA local competition games from season 2019-1. Attached are two documents outlining these changes and how this affects CSBA local competition. TINY BALLERS TERM 1, 2019

Tiny Ballers is City of Sydney Basketball Association's newest basketball class for 3-4 year old's designed to develop hand-eye coordination, movement, skill development and confidence. The class introduces the children to basketball fundamentals such as dribbling, passing and shooting whilst focusing on participation, team work and fun.more

2019 TERM 1 CITY BASKETBALL ACADEMY

City Basketball Academy Term 1, 2019 registrations are now open. The early morning academy program provides the perfect opportunity for players to further advance their basketball skills and decision making. Catering for all athletes aged 12-17 the program is led by Paul Mellett (boys) and Shaun Roger (girls) along with other experienced coaches.more

TWO DAY JANUARY SKILLS & DRILLS CAMP

This camp is for boys and girls aged 8-15. All players will receive expert coaching and have a chance to win promotional prizes with the MVP of the camp receiving a free pair of basketball shoes compliments of the Throwback Store.

SAVES THE DATES - 2019 SYDNEY COMETS JUNIOR REGISTRATION WEEKEND

Sydney Comets registration day is scheduled for Saturday February 2nd (Girls) & Sunday February 3rd (Boys) 2019. This is compulsory for all players, coaches, team managers and a parent. The purpose of the Registration Day is to ensure the following items are completed, paid and/or updated. Athletes will also be participating in physical testing over the course of the weekend.more
