Become a Basketball Referee!
We are looking to develop the next generation of basketball referees and get players involved in the game at another level. These session are open to anyone who wants to join the wonderful world of basketball officiating. Friends &/or family are also welcome! The next two session are April 2nd & April 6th. April 2nd Wednesday: 6:00 -7:30pm at Sport Canterbury, 1 Brynley Street, Hornby
April 6th Sunday: 10:00 am – 12 location is TBC, (possibly Shirley HS, St. Bede’s, ???)
Why you should attend:
- Be eligible for games at a higher level – 5/6, 7/8, U13’s, U15’s, U17’s, U20’s, etc.
- Earn some cash while having fun and increasing your basketball IQ.
- Rules Interpretation – benefit from hearing rules interpretation and rules of emphasis from NBL referees
- You will gain confidence for the upcoming season through learning and/or refreshing rules
