McDonald's Thompson and Whelan Round Seven Preview
Round Seven Tipped off last night with St. Margaret’s holding Ellesmere to only ten points in the second half, winning 62-32.
The special game this week is Papanui’s one – with Cathedral College graciously agreeing to move the game to the Graham Condon Centre, it gives Papanui High their one chance to play in front of a home crowd (7:45pm tip).
Cashmere High School is hosting the girls from St. Andrew’s and boys from Rangiora, Hillmorton doing the same with Villa Maria and Linwood respectively, and Ashburton has Kaiapoi and Middleton Grange respectively (all double headers scheduled for Whelan at 5:15pm and Thompson at 7:00pm)
In single game action tipping at 5:15pm, Avonside hosts Lincoln, Rangi Ruru hosts Rangiora and Shirley Boys’ host Christchurch Boys’. 7pm has Burnside hosting St. Bede’s, Riccarton hosting Lincoln and St. Thomas hosting Hornby. One change - St. Andrew's is hosting Christ's College at 7pm.
