Liam Kronk of the CQU Rockhampton Panthers was presented with the prestigous Bernie Gottke medal awarded for the best and fariest player in the senior competition. ]
100 guests were in attendance at the Qualitiy Inn Centre Point last Wedenesday night to pay tribute to the winners of the awards on the night. Kronk caped off a great year by winning the award but indicated that his year would be complete if the Panthers can bring home the flag on Saturday in the GF.
The big winners on the night were: Bernie Gottke Medal - Liam Kronk, Reserve Grade Best and Fariest - Matt Hellyer (Panthers), Leading Goal Kicker - Clint Ennis (Panthers) 84 Goals, Reserve Grade Leading Goal Kicker - David Bibby (Yeppoon).
Special guest speaker on the night was Craig Starcevich fromer Collingwood / Brisbane player and fitness coach and more recent fitness coach of the Qld Roar, MC on the night Wayne Clifford interviewed Starcevich and gave the audience in attendance an in depth insight into the Roar fitness coach.
