GLADSTONE VS PANTHERS
Gladstone will welcome the return home, after 2 tough weeks on the road. They will also welcome that they are facing the winless Panthers. For Panthers they will be hoping to get some respectability back in their remaining games, while Gladstone will be hoping to keep their chances of a top 4 finish alive.
It is hard seeing Panthers causing too many problems for Gladstone and they will struggle to cover all of the young Mudcrab stars. As has been the case in all games this season, Panthers will look to their experienced players to lead the way.
Prediction: Gladstone by 61 points
BROTHERS VS BITS
Brothers face the tough task of taking on the undefeated Saints who appear to be doing enough to win games comfortably. The key for Brothers chances is to convert as many forward 50 entries into goals, this is easier said than done with the Saints defence led by Adam Dickenson and Paul Cavney being water tight all year.
At the other end of the field, Brothers will also have their work cut out for them controlling the twin scoring machines John Beirouti and Adam Rakip, who between them have kicked over 100 goals so far this season. The Saints midfield has been sublime in providing their forwards with quality delivery this year and Brothers will need to apply pressure to the ball carrier.
Prediction: BITS by 56 points
GLENMORE VS YEPPOON
The final game of the round has 2 in-form signs going head to head, last time they met Glenmore jumped out to a 5 goal lead only to be chased down by Yeppoon in the last.
Both sides pose good midfields and forwards, so the key will be getting quick, quality delivery into their forward lines. Yeppoon would appear to have the advantage defensively, with their backline possessing talent that loves to run and carrier the ball. Glenmore will need to nullify the likes of Sam Nicholls and Matt Wallin.
Expect a cracking contest with Yeppoon prevailing with their quality players across the middle.
Prediction: Yeppoon by 15 points
