Beath, Bate set to mark milestones with a bang

The Butchers will be hoping to begin the 2013 season the same way they finished last year as the defending Premiers take on old foes Collies at Gibson Park this Saturday afternoon.

However, the club will be looking to celebrate not just their 100th year or their 2012 victory, but also the loyalty and pride dedicated to the blue-and-whites by two players.

Aaron Beath scored a try last time the Butchers and Collies met, and he will be hoping to have another solid game in what will be his 250th game for the club this weekend.

Beath will be joined by stablemate Mitchell Bate who celebrates his 100th game for the Butchers.
