Island Swimmers in the USA

Paul Elaisa and Oakley Johns from Fiji and UB Misech from Palau have just finished competing in the National Junior College Amateur Athletics Swimming and Diving championships in Buffalo, New York. All three swimmers are studying and training at Lincoln College, Illinois under the ONOC / Oceania Australia Foundation Scholarship Program. They helped their team finish in 6th place overall in the National championships and all set new school records in their events.

Former ONOC scholarship recipient, Cheyenne Rova from Fiji and FINA Scholarship recipient, Brandon Schuster from Samoa will be representing their schools this week at the 2017 NCAA Division II Championships in Birmingham, Alabama. Cheyenne is currently studying at the University of Minnesota while Brandon is a freshman at Cal Baptist University.
