Swimming on Tonga, by Team Tonga

The 2013 World Swimming team from Tonga talk about swimming at home in the Pacific.

The team speak of their love for Tonga, the humble roots of Tongan swimming clubs and their hopes for the young people of Tonga.

Contains HD footage from Barcelona, photos of the swimmers in action at the World Championships and precious photographs from Malolo Swim Club in Tonga, where the members train in the ocean.

We hear from swimmers Irene Prescott, Charissa Panuve, Ifalemi Sau, Team Manager James Panuve and delegate Vila Day.

This film was produced by Alice and Craig of The Reporters' Academy, a media production company run by young people, tasked with the mission of telling the stories of Oceania's swimmers at the World Championships in Barcelona. The Reporters' Academy is integrated into the world of media, education and employment, based in the great sporting city of Manchester.
