Film - PNG -Barbara Vali-Skelton - World Champs

Very few people experience the feeling of holding a national record in the sporting world, but even fewer experience that feeling whilst they are still a teenager.

Barbara Vali-Skelton can now bask in the glow of that feeling. It's been a remarkable week for the 15 year old at the 15th FINA World Championships.

The young swimmer from Papua New Guinea first of all broke her personal best in her first discipline of the week the 100m Breaststroke, with a time of 1 minute 16.03 seconds. Now she has gone one better in the 200m version.

Comment Guidelines: The SportsTG Network is made up of players, families and passionate sports followers like you who have a strong opinion about sport. That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
