Registration for Mini Kings and Kings Academy are now open for term 4.

After some challenges in getting courts and coaches, we are pleased to announce that Mini Kings and Kings Academy are about to start again. Registrations are open now for Mini Kings (to begin next Wednesday 31 May). Registrations for Kings Academy will open soon, but we ask you to fill out the Expression of Interest form now to help with our planning. Kings Academy will start as soon as possible.

We are a bit late off the mark due to some challenges in organising coaches for this term, but we are back on track now and registrations are now open for programs starting next week (Monday 24 October).

The WBC Spring roster will start on Tuesday 20 September (girls) and Thursday 22 September (boys) . Team registrations are now open.

Do you want to start playing basketball? KHBA has two programs running again in term 3 for young people who would like to start playing basketball. Both these programs provide pathways into teams playing in local and representative competitions. Registrations are now open.

The KHBA AGM is on Monday 25 July and you are invited - there are also several vacancies on the Board if you are interested!

Do you know any girls turning 7, 8 or 9 this year who would like to play basketball?

Tryouts for 2022 Kings teams are coming up shortly (20 - 25 November). While selection for Kings teams is competitive all KHBA junior players are encouraged to try out for Kings teams next year.

Note that U10s and U14s first session has had to move from Sunday to Saturday.

Expressions of Interest are being called from those who would like to be a Kings Junior coach in 2022

Registration is now open for term 4 of our 2021 'Mini Kings' Program. The sessions begin on Thursday 28 October. We will also be splitting into 2 groups due to the number of registrations.

Mini kings is the ideal way for young players to start playing basketball.

The KHBA 3x3 competition has been delayed by a week but will now start on Monday 2 August and Tuesday 3 August. You need to register by Friday 30 July to play next week.

Unfortunately this weeks 3x3 Tournament has been cancelled due to lack of teams. We will try again in a few weeks with a different timeslot.

It has been great having NBL teams doing their pre-season at Kingborough - but unfortunately it means we have to shift our January clinic back a few days. The new dates are 21 and 22 January.

Kingborough Huon Basketball Association (KHBA) is inviting Expressions of Interest for suitably qualified Coaches for their Boys and Girls representative teams. Applications close Monday 23 November.

We are excited to announce that the popular Holiday Basketball Clinic is back, with another KHBA Maccas On Your Team Basketball Clinic on these school holidays at KSC.

Ticket to Play is a Tasmanian Government program designed to reduce the cost of participating in club sport for young Tasmanians. Eligible participants can receive a voucher of up to $100 to use towards the cost of membership of approved clubs.

The second instalment of Kings Junior fees is now due and must be paid by Wed 18 March.
