Welcome to the Croydon Secondary College Tassie Tour website

Well all good things must come to an end, but fortunately we can continue to enjoy them by capturing what we did in both picture and writing.  We welcome any contributions from students if they find themselves with some time over the holidays with nothing to do.  A small reflection on any part would be warmly received and published of course.

I have now had time to catch up on sleep, reunite with family and reflect on what was a fantastic trip.  As teachers we were very proud of every single student as we received compliments from members of the public, our accommodation (Riverfront Motel), tour operators and our bus driver has even requested to come with us next year already!  It certainly makes the time it takes to organise a trip llike this worth it when we see our students not only enjoying themselves but doing it using their A grade behaviour.  Parents you should be very proud too as students only reflect how they have been brought up.  We couldn't have asked for any better behaviour which was at all times respectful, helpful and generally they were a lot of fun to be with.

If you are a student or parent from this year, then I hope you enjoy reflecting on our tour.  If you are a parent or student touring in 2012 then I hope you begin to get excited about what lies in store for you.

Thank-you year 8 for making this such a fabulous tour and thanks to the incredible staff who make it all possible.  A special thanks to Kathy Sanderson fro organising our bag tags, you'll be pleased to know we didn't lose any bags, and to Craig Rutley of Trackon Promotions for the fantastic hoodys which kept us warm and prevented us losing anybody.

Until next year...enjoy the content on this website and please write your reflection which can be permantently captured as the history of the tour.  Email to ricci.edwina.j@edumail.vic.gov.au

Thanks for a great trip.
