2018 #DGWJC - Wrap Up

The 2018 Don Green Western Junior Championships has now wrapped up, and we can confirm that this was the largest #DGWJC on record. With 48 teams competing in this event, it showed that touch football in Western NSW is making its mark at the representative level.

New Division for NSW Jnr Regionals

The Hunter Western Hornets will be just one of six regions to battle it out in Orange at the 2019 NSW Junior Regionals next year. Although this year will see the introduction of something new.

As of 2019 Hornets will also field Under 12’s Boys and Girls divisions, competing against the Sydney Mets, Sydney Rebels, Southern Suns, Northern Eagles and our close rivals – Sydney Scorpions.

If your club is located OVER 200km away from one of these tournament your club could be eligible to claim a 'tournament travel rebate'.

Peninsula Jnr Touch to Host #CCJC (2018-2020)

Hunter Western Hornets Touch Association, in conjunction with NSW Sport & Event Management, are pleased to announce that Peninsula Junior Touch Association have secured the rights to host the Central Coast Junior Championships (CCJC).

Adding to the excitement, CCJC will also see the introduction of a new division, and welcome participation in finals for all clubs who attend.
