The 2015-2016 Riverina Academy squads have been selected, once again another difficult job given the quality of players. A panel of 5 deliberated over the selections and of the players born in 1999 there were 18 unanimous choices and with the 2000 born group there were 14 unanimous choices.more

The AAMI Country Championship Finals kick-off this weekend with four matches taking place at Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium, Mudgee on Saturday, 20th June.
After impressive victories over their opponents in last weekend’s Semi-Finals, Illawarra will take on Canberra in the Tier One Final, whilst the Greater Northern Tigers go head-to-head with Riverina in the Tier Two Final.

The Country Rugby League community is mourning the death of former CEO, David Barnhill Snr last week.
Following a playing career at Yanco-Wamoon, where David went on to represent Riverina, Mr Barnhill moved into the games administration having served Group 20 before moving to the highest position of Country Rugby League where he served as both chief executive and chairman.

Following trials on 11th and 18th May, 2013 the Bidgee Bulls Under 16’s team was announced. The teams played some very interesting games were both Groups recorded a win each.
• Game 1 – Group Twenty 24 defeated Group Nine 10
• Game 2 – Group Nine 36 defeated Group Twenty 6
The Bidgee Bulls will play a trial against ACT Schoolboys on 1st June before travelling to Newcastle on 6th June to compete in the Country Championships.more

The CRL will be conducting a Rugby League Development Camp this July school holidays.This residential camp is for boys aged 13 to 16 years and is to be held at Berry Sports and Recreation Centre Berry NSW. Professional coaches will be on hand to instruct the players through an intensive program of Rugby League Skills session. I would thoroughly recommend this camp to any aspiring Rugby League players.more
