Vale Geoff Downes

It is with great sadness that Redlands Touch advises the passing of Geoff Downes 3/7/49 - 20/1/17. Geoff was a past president, player and mate to many. Geoff was the licensed builder who built our current clubhouse and also one of the Guarantors for our club. Geoff will be sadly missed. Geoff's funeral will be at 10am on Friday 27/1 at George Hartnett Funerals 39 Bay Tce, Wynnum.more

Congratulations to our Aussie Players

In less than 2 weeks, 6 of our Redlands players will be representing Australia in the 2017 Youth Trans Tasman in New Zealand! Jayden Fielding-Smith, Hayden Moffat, Adam Russell, Kobe Nona, James Price and Antonia Buncuga. Redlands Touch wishes them all the very best and we look forward to hearing how they go. Our conditions of entry states: "Teams must advise admin of forfeits at least 2 hours before the game start, to allow sufficient time to inform the opposing team. Teams that fail to give a 2 hour notice of forfeit, or fail to give notice at all, will be subject to a $50.00 penalty, payable prior to their next game"more

Our facebook page is now up and running.  Simply click on the Facebook link, located on the lower right hand side of this page, log in or join facebook, then click 'like'.  Once you do this, you will automatically receive the latest news updates from the club as they happen, delivered direct to your facebook home page. 

At this point in time, comments can be posted onto the wall by participating members. This allows club members to have direct communication with Club Management.  Hopefully, this option can become a permanent feature, as RTA Management always welcomes feedback from members of the club. However, for the benefit of all club members, certain standards of behaviour must apply to the general use of this page.  Should offensive or derogatory comments appear, then the 'reply' option will need to be disabled.  We are confident that this facebook page has the potential to vastly improve communication between Management and the club members, so long as it is used correctly by all participants.....
