Australia wins 2017 Trans Tasman series

Australia has taken out all three divisions, and all nine games at the 2017 Trans Tasman. This is the second-time Australia has completed a clean sweep of the whole series in Trans Tasman history. Australia's Mixed Open side have made it three from three, securing an epic 11-10 come from behind victory to break the hearts of New Zealand.

The Aussies scored the last three touchdowns of the match to snatch victory after trailing for majority of the nerve-racking win.more

A spirited Kiwi side has fallen 9-6 to Australia in Game Two of the Women's Open competition, with the Aussies clinching both the Women's division and the overall Trans Tasman Series in the process.more
