Grand Final - 2017

What a fantastic day - glorious sun shine and a large turn out - what more could be asked to finalise the end of the 2016- 2017 season.

To envisage anything else other than two great displays of touch footy was the result of this years Grand finals.

Div 2 saw Magenta up against Sky Blue and neither team let us down - great contest and determination by both teams. Eventual winner Sky Blue - Man of the Match Alex Lorenzelli (from Sky Blue)

Div 1 saw Orange up against Red. A tightly contested match that resulted in a 4-4 draw at full time. The match went into extra time, but after an extra 5mins each way the result was 6-6. So the game then resulted in a cut throat game of drop offs. Neither team gave up in their determination but Orange eventually took the game out 7-6 in an enthralling contested game. Man of the Match - Liam Ashleigh. Cheers to all partisipants for an excellent exhibition of smart and exciting game of touch footy.

Thanks to all players for their attendace at games over the season, thanks to the many sponsors and thanks to all that helped out throughout the rounds and attendance at BBQ's and other functions.

Good luck in the off season and on behalf of the committee we all look forwards to see you again next October.

Keep an eye out for notification of next season - Registration night will be held Friday 6th October 2017.

As always we have the 3 srikes policy of missing games - if players miss games and do not inform the refs or a committee member than they may be de-registered. For this reason we do keep a reserves list of players wishing to play and if players are de-registered than players are drawn from the reserves list.

For interested players who did not get to the registration and paid their on time and are still keen to play REGISTER NOW and we will call you when a spot comes.

Fees are set at $70 and $60 (if still attending school) - players must be 16 years old to play as the competition is a mens open division.

All games are played on Monday evenings at Greenlees Park Concord at 6.30 and 7.15
