Mens Gold/Silver Medal Game
The game was a 2 all draw and went into extra time.
The Old Crows came out winners after getting a golden goal at the 2:47 minute mark in sudden death.
Gold medal to the Old Crows
Silver medal to the Darwin Bulldogs.
Congratulations to both teams.

Womens Gold/Silver Medal
With two quick goals in the opening 4 minutes and another 7 minutes later took Brown Eyed Girls into the half time break leading 3 goals to Nil. Gove fought hard in the second half.

Womens Bronze Medal
The Womens Bronze medal was won convincingly by Cairns Classics.
The Drifters team tried to capitalise but could not find the back of the net.

Mens Bronze Medal
The Bronze medal was won by Darwin Team the Turtle Smugglers.
A penalty stroke was awarded in the 3rd minute of the second half which Smugglers put into the back of the net.
A hard fought game continued with the final result being 1 nil to the Smugglers

The Gold Medal playoff at 1:30pm between the big guns Old Crows and Darwin Bulldogs. Both being previous Gold medallists.
The Bronze medal playoff at 0900am between Des's and newcomers Turtle Smugglers.

Womens Hockey Medal Games
Gold/Silver Medal playoff is between reigning gold medallists Brown Eyed Girls and Gove Oaks at 12noon.
Bronze playoff at 1030 am between first timers Drifters Hockey Club and last masters silver medallists Cairns Classics.

Frisky Player
It was observed during the Brown Eyed Girls and Maragaritas game that a particular young lady was taunting and tempting a well known identity who was umpiring. Was this a set play by the coach??

Once again tradition has been kept, When Gove Oaks and Lorikeets played each other, they did so in very colourful boxer shorts. Well done girls.

The Darwin Bulldogs have started this week well both on and off the playing strip. The boys were well represented at the opening party on Saturday night.

The web page indicates 4 x 10 min quarters. This is not the case - the games will be 2 x 20 min halves unless extreme weather conditions develop.
