Notice for Referees

The DTA has delayed introduction of the TFA approved referee uniform for some time now.

However, we now need to come into line with the other affiliates around referee uniform requirements.more

State Cup coaches

The DTA is seeking interested coaches for the 2017 touch football state cup. The 2017 state cup will be in Launceston and most likely will be the first weekend in February (dates TBC). Click more if you'd like to be involved!more

The men's and women's competitions kick off on Wednesday, October 5 and mixed on Thursday, October 6.

2016 season!

We hope you are enjoying this long, cold and wet off-season!

Fear not, summer is coming and that means touch footy! The senior competitions will kick off on Wednesday October 5 for men's and women's, and October 6 for mixed. School competitions will start on Thursday, October 20.

New players welcome

If you would like to play touch footy this season but don't have a team to join, e-mail us and we will put you in touch with teams that are looking to take on new players. Please include which competition you are interested in and if you have any previous playing experience.

DTA Referees

As another season rolls around for the DTA, the fact remains that referees are still a vital part of our competition that we cannot do without.
With some new initiatives and opportunities for referees this season, we hope to see all our regular referees back on board, and some new ones to take up the challenge!more
