Pohnpei Take out men's competition

Jason Ponapart won the swim event on the last day of competition to seal his win in the Micronesian All Around. Competing in front of the US Ambassador to the FSM, HE Robert Riley, Jason held up Pohnpei's dominance of this event after the early set back suffered by Talley Hairens.more

Pohnpei Take Gold and Silver in the Women's Event

Roiolynn Jim and Serleen Agrippa, maintained their overall dominance in the women's Micronesian all-around event to gold and silver for Pohnpei.more

Close competition in the men's event

Only two of the 6 competitors were able to complete the very difficult coconut tree climbing event today to give Jasper Ponapart of Pohnpei and Joseph Roman and good head start in the Micronesian All Around for men.more

Halfway in the women's event

Pohnpei continue to dominate the women's Micronesian All-Around event reaching the half way stage in first and second place. However do not discount the fortune of Palauan veteren Julita Blibei whose first place finish in spear throwing keeps her in contention.more

Pohnpei eye continued domination

Pohnpei will be keen to defend their domination of this event established in 2014. In what will be an exciting spectacle with a great deal of local interest, men and women from all over micronesia will pit their traditional and athletic skills together.more
