Timely donation for OPC final
Fiji men's hockey team received a timely boost with the kind donation of goalkeeper's gear by Simon Barnett of OBO New Zealand.
The equipment was air-freighted by UB Freight Services with branch manager Wayne Gibson handing over the gear to Fijian head coach Hector Smith Senior.

Fijian women's coach Alison Southey was delighted when the final hooter sounded for the end of their clash against a spirited Papua New Guinean side in a Hockey World League Series Round 1 match.

Fijian men’s coach Shaun Corrie was a happy man after their 8-2 victory over Papua New Guinea in their Hockey World League Series Round 1 clash.
The win not only put Fiji into Saturday’s Oceania Pacific Cup final against New Zealand Presidents XI, but importantly secures them a place in next January’s World League Series Round 2 in Singapore.

Newcomer to international hockey Fijian men's goalkeeper Lemeki Tubusoi blocked Australia Country out in a pulsating Oceania Pacific Cup clash at the the National Hockey Centre in Suva, Fiji.

Four-year-old Robert William Nicholas David Bennion, grandson of former Fijian national goalkeeper was the youngest participant at the coaching clinic held at the National Hockey Centre in Suva, Fiji.
Robert travelled over 200 kilometres from Lautoka with his grandparents to take part in the clinic.

Veteran Hayden Shaw was once again the main stay for the New Zealand side as they piled up six first half goals to one against Fiji and a very fast paced match.
The former Olympian scored within seven minutes and team mates Anil Nathoo (11min), Nick Molcsan (14) and Nathaniel Joy (22) scored before Fiji pulled one back through Alsace Smith.
