Special Meeting to discuss future of senior basketball in Churchill:

 

 

The Churchill Senior Basketball Association will be holding a "Special Meeting" to discuss the future of senior basketball in Churchill. The current committee have decided to step down and as such in order for he competition to continue the community will need to rally together to form a working committee to oversee and administer the competition moving forward.

 

Staff from Basketball Victoria Country will be overseeing the Special Meeting and will be calling for volunteers to assist with the start up of the new season and furthermore support any new committee members to ensure that the competition and association continue to function in accordance with the model rules.

 

 
The Special Meeting will be held on Thursday the 15th of September, commencing at 7.30pm at Latrobe Leisure Churchill.

 


 

Welcome to the Churchill Senior Amateur Basketball Association website.

The Churchill Senior Amateur Basketball Association runs senior domestic basketball competitions for all ages and abilities at Latrobe Leisure Churchill.

Mens Competitions are ran on Tuesday nights, and Women's competitions run on Wednesday nights.
We operate with between 2 and 4 divisions in these competitions, dependent on demand. In Summer seasons, we intend to conduct a mixed basketball competition on Wednesday nights.

The Churchill Senior Amateur Basketball Association is also home of the Churchill Blue Devils, who compete in the Country Basketball League Gippsland Conference. In 2011/2012, their first year back in the competition, the Blue Devils took home both the Men’s and Women’s premiership flags. The Blue Devils took out the CBL championship in Men's and Women's for the 2013/14 Season.
