VWFL coaching legend Peta Searle has been appointed to the position of Victorian coach for the 2011 AFL National Championships. Peta has an amazing coaching record having taken Darebin to the last five Premier Division Premierships. She played over 100 games, represented Victoria on the field and coached the inaugural Victorian U19 side in 2005.
Peta started her playing career with the Scorpions at the age of 20 and then moved onto the Albion Football Club, Parkside Football Club and then the Darebin Falcons.
Peta took over the reigns as Darebin coach in 2006 and has won all 5 flags in that time.
Peta has six premierships (one as a player with Parkside Football Club), state guernseys and All-Australian selection on her resume.
Congratulations Peta and good luck.....
